Official Rules

It be time for a bookmark about PIRATES! Yarrrr!!

Ye may use this bookmark in any game of Munchkin or its sequels. It may be used at any time. Ye may use only one bookmark (of any kind) per game unless ye change sex. If ye change sex, ye may use a second bookmark. Ye may not use more than two in a game, no matter what.

1. Show everyone the bookmark so they can satisfy themselves that it be what ye say it be, th’ scurvy dogs.
2. Exclaim, in yer very bestest piratical voice, “Ahoy! I be the smarrrrrrtest pirate on the Seven Seas, and I be able to prove it!”
3. Roll the die three times. (Or roll three dice, if ye be so equipped at yer game table. We be not yer bosses.) Ye may use a Loaded Die, if ye have one, to change one roll. Add ’em up.
4. Ye have one minute to name that many real or fictional pirates. Yer opponents are responsible for watchin’ the time!
5. If ye succeed, ye may draw a face-down Door and a face-up Treasure, and ye may go up a level unless the winning level be at stake.
   If ye fail, ye must discard three cards and lose a level.
