Munchkin Inducted Into Hall Of Fame!

At the 2013 Origins Award ceremony on June 15, Munchkin was one of two inductees into the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Design Hall of Fame. (The other inducted game was Dominion, which is also a great game and a favorite of many people here at Munchkin HQ. Also inducted were Lisa Stevens, from Paizo, and Loren Coleman, from Catalyst.)
I'm sure Steve will have more profound words to offer later on, but for now, I'll just say that we are very grateful to all the people who have worked so hard, and played even harder, to make Munchkin one of the most successful games of the 21st century. Special thanks, of course, are due to John Kovalic, whose art has been part of Munchkin from the very beginning. I know I speak for Steve when I say that we share this honor with everyone, in every part of the game business, who has helped make Munchkin an evergreen game.
We aren't resting on our laurels -- our plans for Munchkin the rest of this year, in 2014, and even beyond are ambitious and very exciting for those of us working on the game every day. I can't wait to talk about some of what's in store for the next couple of years.
