Here's a quick guide to what's new and what's coming up in the World of Munchkin:
- Munchkin Zombies 2 – Armed & Dangerous, Munchkin Conan the Barbarian (a 15-card noncollectible, nonrandomized booster), and the +6 Bag o' Munchkin Level Counters have started appearing on the shelves at Friendly Local Game Stores!
- Munchkin Reindeer Games, the Munchkin Dice Bag, and all six colors of the Munchkin Jumbo d6 should be in stores later this month. (Those of you who are obsessive collectors . . . and bless you for it . . . should be aware that Warehouse 23 will be getting a special pink variant of the Munchkin Dice Bag. Fair warning: It doesn't come with the cards that come with the standard version. Of course you already know about the Glow-in-the-Dark Munchkin Jumbo d6, right?)
- We had some advance copies of Munchkin Axe Cop at PAX Prime, and they were going out the door faster than we could restock the table. If you couldn't make it to Seattle, the main part of the shipment will be arriving in our Atlanta warehouse in October, and will be in stores not long thereafter. Hey, October's next month! CHOP THEIR HEADS OFF AND TAKE THEIR STUFF!!
- As we noted recently, the Zombie Chibithulhu is on its way here, along with a resupply of the standard green model. Sending a cute and cuddly Elder God sailing on the Pacific Ocean . . . let's hope he doesn't wake up any uncute, uncuddly big brothers!
- Just in time for the holidays, we'll have Munchkin Fairy Dust Dice and three colors of Munchkin Jolly Jumbo d6. Dice make the BEST stocking stuffers!
- Looking even further ahead, Munchkin 8 – Half Horse, Will Travel and the Munchkin Zombies Meat Lockers are at print, along with loads of reprints so your FLGS keeps its Munchkin shelves full.
- Finally, we're currently playtesting Munchkin The Guild, a new booster based on the hit Web series; The Good, the Bad, and the Munchkin 2 – Beating a Dead Horse; and a Munchkin Quest expansion we aren't quite ready to talk about yet. All of these are scheduled to come out next year.
We also have the full Munchkin Conan core set for next summer, another new Munchkin Zombies expansion, and some other stuff so secret we can't even HINT at it yet. Keeping watching this space for periodic updates!
