Munchkin 8 Report

We haven't mentioned Munchkin 8 for a few weeks, so I thought I'd give y'all a quick update.

First, it has a name: Half Horse, Will Travel! Thanks to Michael Shore for suggesting it in our title contest.

We took M8 to GenCon in still-unfinished form; all the cards were right, but the art wasn't in place yet. That didn't stop a table full of Munchkin maniacs from enjoying over two hours of backstabbing, sex-changing, monster-whacking mayhem in one of the bloodiest Munchkin games I've ever witnessed! For PAX, we should be able to have a printout of the actual rulesheet and use printouts of the cards with art; come by our demo space under the escalators to get the first peek at the newest Munchkin expansion.

Will we have other Munchkin news at PAX? It seems probable . . . plus you might win a Mega-Chibithulhu! You Munchkin Quest fans of a playtesting bent might also want to drop by when you have a couple of hours to kill. Just don't tell anyone I told you.

Munchkin 8 goes to print very shortly, and will be in stores next spring at a time yet to be announced.
